The main voice we provide (“Australian Female”) is supported in Chrome for desktop, OSX Safari, and iOS Chrome and Safari. The Australian Female voice is also used in browsers that do not natively support both versions, such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Opera.
ResponsiveVoice Australian text to speech is supported natively in Chrome desktop, Safari, and iOS. Chrome on Android does supports our technology in the operating system, but it is not accessible to the browser, so ResponsiveVoice falls back to Australian Female as the best case available.
